Spring Time

I love Spring time and this time of the year. Not only does it mean new life and beautiful flowers but it also means AngelsBaseball is not far from beginning. In fact the Angels HOmestand for the Season is on Monday, April 06, 2009. I am very excited for this. GO ANGELS!!

OCMCO Concert - Segerstrom Hall Part II

This is concert was part of the second season of the Orange County Mormon Choral Organization's 2nd season. They sing 3 times a year at Segerstrom's Hall (Christmas, Easter & July 4th). They don't sing on those exact dates. It seems as though each concert just becomes better and better. The last 2 concerts have been sold out before the date of the concert comes up.
Now onto the Easter performance: it just was the best that they have done. What it is they keep learning and get more organized each time that they are able to concentrate on what really needs to be taken care of. All I can say is that this was a fantastic performance. I would suggest that anyone that wants to get tickets for the next performance then they go on sale on May 01 so call directly on the day and get your tickets fast so you can get a seat and a spot you want to sit in.

I am so excited for Dan in his 4th opportunity to sing at the Segerstrom Hall with the Orange County Mormon Choral Organization. 'That Easter Morn'. Will talk about the performance later.

White Clover Grow Me Kit

This morning as I got to work there was a 'White Clover' - Grow me kit on my desk. My boss had given it to all her staff as a contest to see who can get it to grow and for how long. I am actually quite excited about it and we will see how I do on this. In Junior High I was part of the Green Thumb Club. That doesn't mean that I have a green thumb but I would love to see how I do on this. Will give updates as it comes along.

Dan and I went for a walk yesterday after he got home from work and this is a lake we see as we walk by.

This is a tree that is a little further on than the lake.

But as I was saying Dan and I went for a walk and sometimes I have a hard time and I need incentives. So I took a picture of a bush which is below along with another picture that shows that we are almost finished with the uphill part of the walk.

To be fair to Dan, he doesn't quit like this image of him but I told him I did.

Happy St. Patrick's Day

Well today is St. Patrick's Day.

Sunday's

Lately I am just really enjoying Sunday's.  Getting up and ready for church.  Then while at church completely enjoying the spirit there.  Then the rest of the day is quite peaceful and I honestly am quite enjoying it.  I guess as I progress I am learning more things and understanding them as well.  So I am Thankful for Sunday's for the recharge.

Camera and its settings

Dan and I have had our camera for about maybe 2 years and I am finally seeming interested in all of it's features. Here is an example: The first of Dan is with the flash. The second is with settings I am using and without flash.

Well then I have a couple more that are probably better.

Learning Curve

Lately there have been many things in my life that have made me think and learn more about myself and sometimes things I need to change and make better. I am so grateful for being able to change and make myself better. I also have learned that I need to not put so much pressure on myself. I think I am just starting to enjoy life more and the learning curves of life.

Sunday and Spring Forward

Well today really was an enjoable day at church and I learned a lot. It has always been hard for me to get used to the time change though. By the time I actually get used to the time change it's time to change again. There is a consolation prize though, more sunlight to go walking after work.

New Blog - Angels Baseball

Well I have been debating for quite awhile in how to get my blog looking better. So apparently this is what I decided. The Angels are doing great this SPring Training. They are now 8 - 1 and no ther team has gotten that or is the same. Here's to hoping for a great regular season.

Angels Baseball Is Coming - Spring Training Has Begun

I am so very excited about Baseball season and the Angels chances. So far in the first 8 Spring Training games the Agels are on top 7 - 1, which is great! I can't wait to see how they will do this season.

Grateful for Another Day!!

Today I woke up with the feeling of being grateful for this new day.

Celebrating another birthday

On Monday we celebrated Dan's Mom's birthday. We got her the some tulips and I kept the purple one's.

Everyone enjoyed the lobster tales for dinner including my neice.

I had never had lobster before so I decided to be brave a take a taste and of course with my picky taste buds I didn't like it very much but at least I was brave enough to try a taste.

My neice received the Agels Rally monkey at school adn we had the very nice ice cream cake from Baskin Robins for desert. I am really hoping that the Angels will have a really good season and go far. So far in Spring training they have won 5 games and only lost 1 game. GO ANGELS!!!!
